Event Information

EVENT INFO:

“MILES FOR MEGAN” offers riders three route choices along the scenic, waterfront towns of Tiverton and Little Compton, RI. There will be a 12.5 mile, 25 mile, and Metric Century 62.5 mile route to choose from.

For those people who do not wish to ride, there will also be a “MILES FOR MEGAN” walk that will take place on the track at Town Farm Recreational Facility in Tiverton, RI.

Walkers can complete as many laps as they chooser on our 1/3 mile track.

Those that would like to create a TEAM may do so. Please list the team name on your registration forms.

Proceeds from “MILES FOR MEGAN” support the Megan L. Cordeiro Memorial Foundation. The mission of Megan’s Foundation is to help aid many nonprofit organizations that made a difference in Megan’s life during her battle with cancer.

There is a registration fee, and we are asking all riders and walkers to try and obtain as many sponsor donations as they can. CLICK HERE for sponsor form. CLICK HERE to print sponsor letter to send out to friends and family to obtain donations.

Your sponsor form can

either be mailed to us at: P.O.Box 339, Tiverton RI 02878, or you can bring it with you the day of the event. Please have your sponsors make checks payable to MEGAN L. CORDEIRO MEMORIAL FOUNDATION.

Rider check-in - 10/2/10 7:30 am - 8:30 am

Riders assemble at starting line - 10/2/10 8:45 am - 9:00 am

Ride begins! - 10/2/10 9:00 am SHARP

Post-Ride Barbecue and Celebration 10/2/10 11:30 am - 3:00 pm

Walker check-in 10/2/10 8:45 am - 9:30 am

Walk starts at 10/2/10 9:45 am

There will be a raffle/silent auction - We will sell raffle tickets for various theme baskets and gift certificates so be sure to enter to win !! we also have a silent auction table with valuable items for your bidding pleasure.
